Steps involved in ordering & replacing your kitchen cabinets doors:

We strive to make our ordering process as easy as possible, but we understand this isn't something you do every day. Below are a few steps and tips that will help you make the right decision when ordering your new cabinet doors for your kitchen!

1. Select a replacement kitchen door or drawer front type- There are a few common questions we receive regarding door style. Most commonly customers ask the difference between RTF cabinet doors & wood cabinet doors. Rigid Thermofoil (RTF) doors are comprised of a durable vinyl laid over Medium Density Fiberboard(MDF). Thermofoil cabinet doors stand up well to high humidity and cleaning. Wood kitchen cabinet doors are comprised of a solid wood frame, and either a solid or plywood panel. Wood doors can be refinished, and minor damage is easier to repair, allowing you to give worn doors a second life. 
2. Select a cabinet door style- We carry hundreds of custom cabinet door styles, but most doors can be categorized as raised panel, inset panel, solid panel, or cut for glass.
3. Select your wood species - If you choose to go with an unfinished wood cabinet door, you won't be disappointed by our selection. We carry the widest variety of wood species of any cabinet supplier you will find. Here is a list of the most common woods used in our kitchen cabinet doors. If you don't see the variety you are looking for, please ask us and most likely we have it in stock. Alder, Cherry, Pine, Cedar, Beech, Honduras Mahogony, Maple, Pink Birch, Pecan, Paint Grade Maple, Red Oak, Rustic Knotty Alder, Rustic Knotty Walnut, Sapele, Ash, Fir, Walnut, White Birch, & White Oak are the most common species used in our wood cabinet doors.
4. Enter your door or drawer front measurements & determine your hinge and boring options -  for single doors – the doors require a ½” overlay on all 4 sides so for a single door, if your opening is 20”w x 20”h, the door size would be 21” w x 21” h. for Double doors – the doors require a ½” overlay on all 4 sides so for a double door, if your opening is 20”w x 20”h, the door sizes would be (2) 10 1/2” w x 21” h. You can also use our door measurement calculator for assistance with finding the door size you need.
